I am currently experimenting with some smart sensors in the hives. I can monitor a range of different metrics and see how they compare. The primary objective is to have some real time data indicating if there is a problem requiring me to put the time in to go and see them. Notification that robbing is occurring is a great example as last year I harvested 4 jars out of the total 6 hives.
