So this is me.

I started beekeeping back in 2015 when having been thinking about bees for a while I got an advert on facebook for a new type of hive called a Flow Hive. Long story short and I ended up being one of the first investors in the project, but more importantly I ended up with my first beehive.. Since then one hive has turned into three and then into 6….

My Beekeeping experiences started in Wales where I joined the local Beekeeping club and did the beginners course. I built up to have 8 hives in Wales across 3 different locations before moving back to England and resuming my beekeeping activities in Horsham. I now have a apiary in Horsham where I run a few hives and try to rear my own queens and colonies as a hobby beekeeper. My corner of a large field is fenced off and has 2 large stands. I still produce flow honey and have as yet not ventured away from the Flow Honey system, though I do harvest cut-combe honey as well. I am focussing my efforts on producing a small amount of honey but also some nucs to help get others into the pastime. Having newly located I am trying to expand my reach and settle in so always looking for swarms and local land on which to put the hives.
